For the “full pie experience” you will need to do the following

Make a green salad, pour a cold beer and take a deep breath.  You are about to embark on a pie journey.

**These baking instructions apply to our frozen 5” pot pies, 5” hand pies and 5” sweet pies. If you have received or purchased a 9” frozen pie see the box for customized baking instructions.

Do Not Thaw your State of Grace Pie. These little babies go straight from freezer to oven. Here’s how!

Step 1: The Egg Wash

For the perfect presentation, before baking, beat an egg with 1 Tbsp. of water. Brush the egg wash over the tops and rims of each pastry to create a perfectly browned crust on each pot pie while they bake in the oven. YES, even pies topped with mash potatoes get a gentle egg wash.

Step 2: The Baking

Preheat oven to 400°F. Removed desired number of portions from packaging. Place on lightly oiled baking sheet lined with baking paper or foil. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes and then reduce heat to 375°F. for 30 min or until pastry is golden brown, the filling is bubbling and or the internal temperature is 165°F.

(*** for any of our Pastry Puff Topped Pies such as Beef Bourguignon, follow step 1 and then place in a 400°F degree oven for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the internal temperature has reached 165°F.)

Individually wrapped and sealed they go from freezer to oven to table in no time. Served with a crisp, green salad or on their own… they're an easy, comforting meal we know you'll want to treat yourself and your family to any night of the week!

Enjoy and thanks for letting us “feed your soul”.

Love Grace
